About Me

Born in southern Missouri, currently living in Austin.
Have three siblings I was raised with (a half and two steps) and a cousin I consider a sister.
As of January 2024, my husband and I have a combined fifteen nieces and nephews under 10.
My comfort shows are Murder She Wrote, Hoarders and Law and Order SVU.
I listen to George Jones, Merle Haggard and a lot of old country.
I keep my Christmas tree up all year. It’s fake. Don’t worry, I keep it dusted.
I crochet as physical therapy, as well as for my mental health. Stabbing yarn is better than stabbing people, and I hear the medical care in jail isn’t always great.
I cost my insurance typically somewhere between $500k-$2m a year. Yep, I’m expensive to keep alive.
I have something called VACTERL, as does my husband. We met at a conference for it in 2005. He’s from Denmark originally.
Thanks to a medical malnourishment issue, my blonde hair went gray when I was 26. Nearly twelve years later, I’ve been blonde, brunette and pitch black. Currently I’m brunette with a red/pink streak.
